Goli

Goli lies about 100 km west of Guntur. An archeological site, Goli has several Buddhist antiquities that belong to the Ikshvaku era. A ruined Malleshwara temple was also discovered.

The limestone sculptures, which were recovered in Goli, are now displayed in Government Museum at Chennai. The findings also showcased a panel with a seven hooded serpent. A 3rd century stupa depicted with Buddhist themes is seen near the village. A few panels are inscribed with Brahmi labels.
