Golewala is a scenic hamlet in
Faridkot District of
Punjab, on the
Faridkot-
Ferozepur road. The village has been sanctified by the visit of
Guru Gobind Singh Sahib in 1705. Here the main attraction is Gurdwara Katar Sahib established to preserve the sweet memory of his visit.
Golewala is well connected with nearby cities and towns by road and rail. By road it is about 15 km from Faridkot and 60 km from Goniana. Golewala Railway station serves this area.
