Gokul Nath Ji Temple is an ancient temple situated in the village of
Gokul, 16 km south-east of
Mathura. Gokul lies to the west of Sadabad, 1.6 km from Mahavan on the Mathura-
Etah road. Gokul is the place where young
Lord Krishna was brought up secretly, to save him from {
Kamsa}, the demon king. The temple is on the bank of river Yamuna and is well connected by road.
