Goharganj

Goharganj is a taluk headquarters town in the south-western part of Raisen District in Madhya Pradesh. It is situated 30 km south of Raisen, the administrative headquarters of the district. The town is about 36 km north of Hoshangabad and 45 km south of Bhopal.

Bhojpur, Karera, Bhimbetka Caves and Sanchi are the worth-visiting spots in the neighborhood.

Bhopal Airport and Obaidullaganj Railway Station serve the town. National Highway 12 has its route through Goharganj.
