Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology is approved by the AICTE and
Punjab Technical University,
Jalandhar. It was built in 1974. The institute offers information and management courses at under graduation and post graduation levels.
All the classrooms are furnished with modern educational aids such as OHP, white boards, T.V., VCR, and slide projectors.
The college has a well equipped library with over 1,430 titles. Magazines and journals are also provided in the library. The Institute offers boarding facilities for both boys and girls with good food and amenities such as security arrangements, telephone, newspaper, magazines, and T.V. A full fledged placement and training cell offering job opportunities is also present in the college. The college also conducts summer programs.
