Ghulam Ahmed College of Education, established in 1985, is situated at
Banjara Hills in
Hyderabad. The college offers bachelor and post graduate degrees in education (B Ed and M Ed) and the courses are affiliated to
Osmania University.
The main objective is to prepare students for the teaching profession. After the course, the students are sent to different schools for teaching practice. The college holds a big seminar hall equipped with modern audio-visual equipment, a library-cum-reading room and laboratories. In an academic year the college can accommodate up to 160 students.
