Ghotmona is in South Goa District and is around 1 km from Cacora and 4 km from Soliem. It is in the upper part of Quepem taluk.

In the neighborhood lie the Roman Church in Tilamola, Quepem Dam, Jama Masjid in Sanguem and Selaulim Dam.

Sanvordem Curchorem Railway Station and Goa Airport are the main access points. Ghotmona is approachable from Quepem, Sanguem and Margao.
