Gheekanta Shankeshwar Teerth is a famous Jain pilgrim center located at
Ahmedabad, in
Gujarat. It is situated in the Gheekanta locality in Ahmedabad city. The temple enshrines a 53 cm high, white colored idol of Parikaryukta Bhagwan Shankeshwar Parshwanath in the Padmasana posture.
Gheekanta Shankeshwar Teerth is a simple and low-built structure without any ancient workmanship. The idol installed in the temple is an ancient one. Other deities worshipped here include Adinath, Bhagwan Shantinath, Parshva Yaksh and Padmavathi Devi.
