Ghat Section, the boundary to
Wayanad District, is a thick dense forest lying 44 km from
Kozhikode. Stretched up to 14 km, the place boasts a scenic landscape, owing to its beautiful hills and green vegetation of all kinds. The area receives very high rainfall, and hence it is dubbed as the ‘
Cherrapunji of
Kerala.’ The scintillating views from the top of the hills are simply breathtaking.
