Ghanchis is one of the main communities inhabiting in the western districts of
Gujarat. They are mainly oil-processors, vegetable sellers, weavers and laborers. This community has many sub divisions. Widow Remarriage is acceptable in their caste. They worship Kabir, Ramanand, Swaminarayan and Vallabhacharya.
