Getalsud Reservoir is the main attraction of the township of
Getalsud in
Ranchi District of
Jharkhand. Fed by the river
Subarnarekha, it is around 40 km east of
Ranchi.
The reservoir was completed in 1971 and is one of the main sources of water in the district. Getalsud Reservoir also supplies water for the industrial needs of the Heavy Engineering Corporation and other factories.
Silli Railway Station is the nearest railway station.
