Gayatri Siddh Peeth Ashram is located at 30 km south of
Kanpur city in
Uttar Pradesh. The
ashram lies at Shambhua railway crossing, on Hamirpur Road which leads towards Ghatampur from Kanpur city. This place, also known as Kharesar Dham, is an ancient place where at one time, thousands of yogis performed austerities and meditation for thousands of years. Nearby lies the famous Ved Matha Gayatri temple.
