Gawari is a tribal group commonly found in the states of
Andhra Pradesh,
Madhya Pradesh,
Bihar and
Maharashtra. Gawari is the spoken language, a part of the Indo-Aryan language family. These tribes are noted for their customs and traditions. They allow marriage only within the caste. Gawaris worship most of the Hindu deities. These tribes also believe in reincarnation. The main source of living is agriculture.
