Gautam Teerth is a holy tank situated at
Trimbakeshwar in
Nasik District of
Maharashtra. It lies to the south of the
Ganges and the Trimbakeshwar Temple.
Legend has it that Lord Varun pleased with the devotion of Gautam, blessed him and gifted this teerth containing the eternal source of water.
