Gartabal is a scenic village in
Srinagar District of
Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 11 km from
Srinagar – the district headquarters and 162 km from
Jammu.
Located at a height of 5,216 ft, it is an ideal base for the adventure enthusiasts who are on their trail to the Great Himalayas. Gartabal is surrounded by Nagabal in the west, Rangyil in the north, Khalamul in the east and Pandachh in the south.
Gartabal can be reached from Busarbog, Darind and Rangyil.
