Garot

Garot is a taluk headquarters town located towards the north-eastern part of Mandsaur District, in Madhya Pradesh. It is situated about 80 km north-east of Mandsaur and 40 km south of Bhanpura; its northern and western parts are bounded by Gandhi Sagar Dam.

Gandhi Sagar Sanctuary, Manasa, Sitamau and Nayagaon are the interesting spots in the neighborhood.

The nearest airport is at Indore. Mandsaur Railway Station and Nimach Railway Station serve the town.
