Gandhi Sarovar, also known as Chorabari Tal or Chorabari Lake, is located 1.5 km from
Kedarnath Temple.
Mandakini River originates from this lake. It is believed that it was from the banks of this lake that Yudhishthir, the eldest of the
Pandavas, departed to heaven.
