Gandhi Park is in the heart of
Port Blair, the capital of
Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The park offers amusement rides, safe water sports and nature trail around the lake. There is also a garden, a bunker, a restaurant and historic remains such as Japanese Temple as well as a ditch.
The former Dilthaman tank, which was the only source of drinking water to Port Blair, is converted into the Gandhi Park in a short time of 13 days.
The park is open on all days from 05:00 to 21:00 hrs.
