Gadeigiri

Gadeigiri is a quiet village dotted with mud huts in Jagatsinghpur District of Orissa. It is named after its founder, Gadai Giri - a businessman who migrated from Midnapore District in the seventeenth century.

The residents of this village worship Gopal (Lord Krishna) as their village deity. ISKCON’s Sri Radha-Gopaljiu Mandir is the main attraction here. Nearby at Jagannathpur, about 20 km away, lies the holy home of Srila Gurudeva.
