GMR Institute of Technology, managed by GMR group, is in Rajam,
Srikakulam District. It is affiliated to the
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education.
The college conducts B Tech programs in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering. A training and placement cell functions within the campus to assist students in recruitment and placement matters.
The campus, spread over 117 acres, include well-equipped departmental blocks, lecture halls, laboratories, workshops, hostels, library and an administrative complex.
