Founded in the Year 1996, G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology is situated at Vallabh Vidyanagar in the
Anand District of
Gujarat. Under the regulations of the Faculties of Engineering and Technology of Sardar Patel University, it follows a credit-based system of studies. The college offers engineering degree in seven degree programs - chemical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, electrical engineering, information technology, computer engineering, mechanical engineering and mechatronics engineering.
The main building of the college has a number of class rooms, offices, well-equipped laboratories, computer center, internet facility, drawing hall, workshop and student common room. Different sections are linked through spacious corridors and various 'open-to-sky' areas providing a harmonious working atmosphere. A boys' hostel, library building and staff quarters are also located within the vicinity.
