Fortim-do-Mar

Fortim-do-Mar is a former jail situated in the Fort of Diu built by the Portuguese. A part of the Diu fort once served as the island’s jail. It is an interesting building painted in white, which stands overlooking the sea and is just a few distance away from the shore. The airport at Diu helps in its easy access. The nearest railway station is at Delwada, 8 km away and the place is also well connected by road.
