Forsyth Ganj




Forsyth Ganj is situated at Dharamsala in Kangra District, Himachal Pradesh. It was named after a Divisional Commissioner of British India. Forsyth Ganj is one of the settlements of the Tibetan Buddhists. St John's Church is a famous Anglican church, popularly known as 'the church of St John in Wilderness,' lying in the forest near Forsyth Ganj. A memorial to Lord Elgin (former British Viceroy) can be seen in the churchyard. Bhagsunath Temple, Dharamkot, Kotwali Bazaar and Mcleodganj are nearby destinations. Nearest airport is Gaggal Airport. Nearest railway station is at Pathankot.
