Feshiltong Mountain sprawls along the north-western part of
Kupwara District. This snow capped mountain has an altitude of 800 ft. The historical pass of Lashdut and the beautiful meadow of Gogalneur lay across Feshiltong Mountain. Locals believe that two saints reside in this mountain. One has cultivated vegetables in his cave and keeps deer for milk, and the other saint has constructed a golden mosque in his cave. Balitiyng is another mountain nearby.
