Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium

Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi, also known as Willingdon Pavilion, was built in 1883. It is regarded as the smallest of the four main Test grounds in the country. Kotla staged its first Test in the 1948-49 season, featuring West Indies and India.

First one day international cricket match was played here between India and Sri Lanka during the 1982-83 season. So far, 12 One Day International Matches have been played at Kotla.

The crowning glory of Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium was the 10-wicket haul in an innings by Anil Kumble against Pakistan in 1999. He is the only second bowler in the history of test cricket to achieve this distinction.

The stadium is at present being renovated.
