Established in 1960 by the then Member of Parliament Sri Feroz Gandhi, it is the main center for higher education in the
Rae Bareli District. The college offers courses in four faculties - Science, Arts, Commerce, and Education. There are 90 talented and well educated professors and lecturers imparting education to approximately 6,250 students in the four faculties of the college.
