Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT), a center of excellence in technical education, is situated at Mookannoor, a rustic village on the outskirts of
Angamaly town in
Ernakulam District. This is a self financing institution established and managed by the Federal Bank Officers Association Educational Society (FBOAES).
Affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, the college offers engineering degree courses in the field of electronics and communication, electrical and electronics, computer science, and electronics and instrumentation engineering.
The college has well-equipped libraries, computer centers, seminar halls, boys and girls hostels, conference hall and drawing halls. Gymnasium, internet cafe, language lab and stadium with all modern facilities for sports and games are also here.
