Fatasapole Mahavir Teerth is situated on Gandhi road in the
Ahmedabad District of
Gujarat. This Jain temple temple is dedicated to Lord Mahavir.
Fatasapole Mahavir Teerth has a majestic dome. There are some sculptures of Jain goddesses in the open square of the temple.
Pavapuri, the place of
nirvana of the Jain god Mahavir is constructed here with marble. There are metal idols of the twenty-four Jain saints called the
Teerthankars. The temple also contains a bluish crystal idol of the Jain god Shantinath. Coconut oil lamps provide light within the temple. The managing trust of the temple is Shri Fatasapole Mahavir Swami Jain Derasar Trust.
