Farwahi

Farwahi is a village, situated 5 km from Barnala, in Sangrur District of Punjab. This village was visited by Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, the ninth guru of Sikhs. The guru was considered as a true manifestation of God and his visit made the village sacred. To preserve the precious memories of the visit, a Gurdwara has been built here.

Sangrur Railway Station, situated on the Ludhiana-Jakhal railway line, is the nearest railhead.
