Family of Disabled, a charitable trust, has been serving those with different disabilities at
Janakpuri in
New Delhi since 1992. It aims to make the disabled self-reliant, productive and independent individuals. One of the objectives of the organization is to create awareness among the people about different disabilities and make them more sensitive about the same.
Employment opportunities are provided, and aids and appliances are offered free of cost to people. Counseling is another service. They organize recreational activities for the disabled for soothing their minds. The organization has won various awards for its services.
