Ethno Medicinal Forest (EMF) is located at
Auroville in
Pondicherry. Spread over an area of 50 acres, the forest is the part of Pitchandikulam Medical Plant Conservation Park. The forest comprises of more than 600 species of medicinal plants and a sanctuary with a range of fauna.
EMF is the only region where the rare species from the tropical dry evergreen forest and other floristic zones of south India are seen.
The nearest railway station is Pondicherry Railway Station.
