Embassy of Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg in India has been set up in 27th February 2002 with the aim of putting the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg on the political and economic map of India and to reap the benefits of growing bilateral trade between the two countries. It plays a major role in extending both routine and emergency services to Luxembourg citizens residing or in transit in India and to ensure their overall security and welfare whilst in the country.
Embassy’s functions include issuing emergency passports and immigrant and non-immigrant visas, notarization and attestation, cultural exchange, offering consultancy services for commercial ventures, representing its citizens while talking to local authorities, offering them assistance in case of emergencies and purveying necessary tourist and local information for the needy.
