Embassy’s services include issuing emergency passports and immigrant and non-immigrant visas, assisting its citizens in emergencies, representing them while talking to local authorities, providing attestations of Indian certificates and processing and purveying tourist information apart from ensuring the overall welfare of Afghan citizens in India.
Indira Gandhi International Airport is 15 km to the north-west of Chanakyapuri. The Afghanistan Embassy is 10 km to the south-west of New Delhi Railway Station and is 12 km from the Interstate Bus Stand at Kashmiri Gate.
