Elamad

Elamad is a hamlet in Kollam District of Kerala, bordered by Velinalloor Panchayat on one side. It comes under the Chadayamangalam block administration. Several temples, churches and mosques add attraction to this place.

Agriculture and rubber plantations are the main income of the villagers. Cashew factories are found in abundance here. Nearby significant places are Oyoor and Ambalamkunnu. Ayoor, Anchal, Kottarakara and Punalur are easily accessible from here. Tourist attractions such as Chadayamangalam, Jatayu Para, Kottukal Rock Cut Cave Temple and Kottarakara Ganapathi Temple are close to Elamad.
