Dzongu Valley is in the North Sikkim District of Sikkim. It is about 70 km north of Gangtok and can be accessed from Siliguri (153 km), West Bengal, through the Singtam road. This valley has been formed by fast flowing glacier-fed rivers emerging from the Himalayas. Dzongu Valley rests in the shadow of the beautiful Mount Kanchenjunga and Mount Siniolchu. The area is assigned to the Lepcha tribes by the Government. Trekking in the valley is possible. The ideal time to visit here is during spring (April to May) and autumn (October to January).
