Dwarkamai

Dwarkamai is situated on the right side of the entrance of the Samadhi Mandir, in Shirdi, Maharashtra. It is the place where Shirdi Sai Baba had stayed for about 60 years until the end of his life. This mosque is regarded as a holy landmark of all religions in the world.

The mosque has a nimbar (a niche) in the west wall, which Muslims use for prayer and there are bells hanging from its ceiling which resembles a Hindu temple.

Another important feature is that it acts as a place for curing many fatal diseases and all kinds of sufferings through Udi (sacred ash) collected from the dhuni (fire place) - the perpetual sacred fire burning here. The mosque also has beautiful oil paintings of the sage.

Ram Navami, celebrated here, attracts large number of people irrespective of caste, creed and religion.
