A small town, Duria is located in
Gumla District of
Jharkhand. It lies about 30 km north-east of
Gumla.
Other prominent towns in the neighborhood are Sisai (10 km west), Bharno (12 km north), Langratoli (22 km south) and Karra (29 km east). In and around the town are numerous noteworthy attractions, including the tribal fort near Sisai, Beng Hill and Samsera Dham.
The nearest railhead and airport are at Ranchi.
Ranchi, the state capital, is 68 km south-east.
