Established in 1930 by Dr. H Cecil Duncan, the Duncan Hospital had been managed by Regions Beyond Missionary Union till 1974. It is now under the Emmanuel Hospital Association (EHA). The hospital is situated in
Raxaul, in the north west of Bihar. It is a 175 bed hospital, offering services in surgery, obstetric/gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, dentistry and in AIDS treatment. Free treatments are provided for poor patients. There is a well developed nursing school which trains nurses for EHA and other health delivery strategies. Guest rooms are also available.
