Founded in 1963, Dr Vaishampayan Memorial Medical College is one of the leading medical colleges in
Solapur. The under graduate courses are affiliated to
Maharashtra University of Health Sciences,
Nasik, and the postgraduate courses to Shivaji University,
Kolhapur.
The campus has all facilities including four lecture theaters, auditorium, hostel, recreation room, conference hall and a well-stocked library. A multi-specialty hospital with most modern facilities is also available. Besides, facilities for conducting a wide range of indoor and outdoor games are provided.
