Dr Nitte Shankara Adyanthaya Memorial First Grade College was established by Nitte Education Trust in 1988. Affiliated to
Mangalore University, it offers three year under graduate courses such as BCom BSc in Mathematics, Electronics and Computer Science and BBM.
The institute has a wide range of infrastructural facilities including electronics lab, computer lab, sports facilities and well stocked library. The college has debating association, human resources development cell, career guidance cell and management association. There are separate hostels for gents and ladies.
Dr NSAM First grade college is located at Nitte, a small village near Karkala in Udupi District.
