Divyarakshaka is a social and charitable society situated at Mylacombu in
Idukki District. It was established in 1996 with an intention to provide the basic necessities such as food, shelter, medicine and clothing for the wandering mental patients. The center operates a home for mothers and unwanted children, a healing center for drug addicts and alcoholics, divine shelter and a prayer center.
The volunteers of Divyarakshaka come from different walks of life. The center has doctors, nurses, government employees, house wives, college students, teachers and ordinary men and women.
