Divya Disha is a registered voluntary organization located at
Secunderabad, just 6 km north-east of
Hyderabad, in
Andhra Pradesh. It offers services to children and youth, especially those who are in slums and on streets. Rehabilitation and primary education are provided. It campaigns for the rights of children in schools and initiates child workers in education.
The organization set up a recreation center in a school near Secunderabad Junction Railway Station. The center conducts awareness programs on health and education and has facilities for playing and medical care. Childline, a project of Childline India Foundation, offers a national 24 hour free phone emergency service for children in difficult circumstances.
Divya Disha work in partnership with UNICEF and other international/local organizations. It has the active support of the Government Departments of Women and Child Welfare, Education, Social Welfare, Labor, Health and the Police.
Secunderabad Junction Railway Station, managed by the South Central Railways, is the nearest railhead.
