Dhikala Forest Lodge, located 40 km northwest of Ramnagar, is the main camp of Corbett. The lodge is in the middle of the famous
Corbett National Park, overlooking the Ramganga reservoir and the green hills. The lodge offers accommodation in log huts, bungalows and cabins. The canteen serves western and Janta dishes.
Dhikala has a dhaba and a library cum reading room, where film shows on wildlife are run for guests. Jeep rides and elephant safaris are the highlight of the stay here. Visitors can see animals and birds from the tower beside a water-hole, around 1 km from the lodge.
Phoolbagh (Pantnagar), 50 km away, is the nearest airport. Indira Gandhi International Airport is the nearest international airport. The nearest railway station is at Ramnagar from where local transportation is available to the park.
