Dhavaleswaram is located in
East Godavari District. The hill here known as Dhavalagiri, is noted as the main among nine Janardanas. There is a tunnel at this place at Narada Guha or Narada's Cave. It is believed that there is a path leading to Kasi from here. Dhavaleswaram is 3 km from
Rajahmundry, believed to be the abode of Agasteeswara.
