Dharhara is a taluk headquarters in Munger District of Bihar. It is about 17 km south-west of Munger, the district headquarters.

Bhimbandh Wildlife Sanctuary and Munger Fort are the major tourist attractions in the region.

Patna Airport is the nearest airport. Dharhara Railway Station is on the Kiul- Jamalpur rail route.
