Dharan is a scenic village situated between Tehri and Dharasu in Uttarkashi District. It lies at the confluence of Khuromla and Bhagirathi, on the Char Dham trek route. The village contains patches of trees and clusters of small houses. Dharan offers enchanting views of snow-clad peaks and deep fertile valleys all around. Nearby attractions are Gangotri, Yamunotri and Maneri.
