Narmada, Dharaji, as a place of religious and historical significance is an important tourist attraction. There is a beautiful waterfall on the Narmada here. Millions of devotees throng this place twice a year on Amawasi (New Moon). The popular belief is that on such auspicious occasions, Dharaji gains mystical powers to relieve people from evil spirits. Shivlings found here, considered very pious, are coveted possessions.
