Dhamma Sarovar is a meditation center located near Tikhli village, about 14 km from
Dhule, in
Maharashtra. It is situated adjacent to the Dadergaon Lake and is close to Lulling Ghat. Established in 1994 by Khandesh Vipassana Vishvastha Mandal, it is set up in a 36 acre of land and offers an ideal natural environment for the students of
Vipassana meditation.
Dhamma Sarovar is dedicated to the teaching of Buddha, as taught by Shri Satyanarayan Goenka in the tradition of Sayagyi U Ba Khin of Myanmar. The campus features all the necessary facilities required for Vipassana meditation courses. Cells for individual meditation in the Pagoda are also available. The Dhamma Hall can accommodate up to about 80 participants. The center also offers meditation courses for children.
Dhule Railway Station is the nearest railhead. Dhamma Sarovar can be easily approached from the Mumbai-Agra and Surat-Aurangabad highways.
