Devi Sthan is a small Hindu temple located under dense foliage of the 'Dhupi' forest on the west bank of the Sumendu Lak in Mirik area of
Darjeeling District. The temple is devoted to Singha Devi. It is considered auspicious to visit the temple. Nearby lie other temples of
Hanuman,
Shiva and
Kalimata.
Mirik is well connected to other cities and towns by road. The nearest railway stations are at Ghoom(41 km), Darjeeling(49 km), Siliguri(52 km) and New Jalpaiguri(60 km).
