Deval Masjid




Deval Masjid was originally a Jain temple and was converted into a mosque by Muhammad-bin-Tughluq at the time of his conquest of Deccan. Ths star-shaped building is located in Bodhan. There are two inscriptions of Muhammad-bin-Tughluq in the mosque. The figures of Tirthankars are seen even now.

Bodhan is 32 km west of Nizamabad. Nizamabad has a railway station and buses are also available from Nizamabad to Bodhan.
